Harvest Time ~ It’s Time to Get Excited: The NaNoWriMo 2023 Challenge Awaits!
Hey Writers,
NaNoWriMo 2023
As the hangover of the cold weather lingers at night (in the southern hemisphere), a unique adventure awaits your attention. Storytellers young and old and anxious for NaNoWriMo to arrive
In November, the literary world bursts into a frenzy of creativity known as National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo. This annual celebration challenges us to silence the whispers of doubt, banish our inner critics, and begin a daring quest: crafting a 50,000-word novel in just 30 days!
This is your time to be free to allow your imaginations to bound around the apple fields of creativity, sketching worlds and crafting tales unrestricted by the usual grind of perfectionism. Yes, that is the goal – simply write, write, write – no stopping, no questioning just keep writing.
It’s a journey of discovery rewarding you, the storyteller, with cheers and encouragement from a global community of like-minded souls if you decide to join up on the platform.
From the website… This year, the NaNoWriMo 2023 challenge kicks off with a spirited gathering at the State Library of Western Australia, a night brimming with anticipation, camaraderie, and the shared thrill of the narrative odyssey that lies ahead.
And for our young scribes, the Young Writers Program awaits, offering a platform to shine and be recognized, with enticing prizes adding a dash of competitive zest to the creative voyage.
So, as the days lead us closer to November, let the whispers of inspiration flutter around, let the plots marinate, and characters breathe.
Get your writing nooks ready, for a month of wild, unbridled creativity is on the horizon. The 50,000-word mountain awaits to be conquered, one word, one page at a time.
Are you ready to heed the call of NaNoWriMo 2023?
The blank pages await your tales, and the world is eager to live through the stories only you can tell. Sharpen those pencils, charge up the laptops, and let’s march together into a month of narrative exploration and literary camaraderie!
Happy writing!
